Six healthy, friendly pullets thoughtfully selected by Izaak’s Happy Hens.

Each flock is hand-selected from our current availability, with an eye toward creating a beautiful variety of feather colors, patterns, breeds, and personalities. Every pullet is chosen for her overall quality and suitability for backyard chicken keeping, with beginners in mind.

Because this is our Breeder’s Choice Flock, the individual chickens are selected by us rather than chosen by the customer. This allows us to create a unique and beautiful assortment of happy, healthy backyard hens in every flock.

A Few Things to Know

• We will always strive to create a beautiful assortment of feather colors and patterns, but variety is dependent on current availability.
• Egg color is not used as a selection criterion for the Signature Six. When possible, we will add variety in egg color, but it cannot be guaranteed.
• True blue egg layers are not included in the Signature Six.
• We will guarantee a minimum of 3 different breeds whenever availability allows, while striving to provide 5–6 different breeds in each flock.
• The six pullets are selected by Izaak’s Happy Hens. Individual bird selection is not available with this offering.
• Additional birds may be added to your flock at their regular retail price in addition to the six Breeder’s Choice pullets.
• All sales are final once the flock has been taken home. No returns or refunds will be accepted after pickup.
